Does SR9009 actually work?

Yes, based on my personal experience and tons of feedback, it’s effective. It improves stamina, better fat-burning, and faster recovery, especially during cutting phases or cardio-heavy training.

How SR9009 Works

As we said, SR9009 works by activating REV-ERBα, a protein that plays a major role in regulating your body’s energy metabolism and circadian rhythm.

This activation increases the production of mitochondria, which are known as the “energy factories in your cells”.

When you have more mitochondria, your muscles get more energy to burn during workouts. This leads to improved endurance, quicker recovery, and better overall performance.

It’s particularly useful during intense cardio training or cutting phases when stamina and recovery are crucial.

Another big effect of SR9009 is its ability to boost fat metabolism. It helps your body burn through more stored fat for energy while preventing fat storage by reducing how much glucose and lipids are stored as fat. This makes SR9009 a tempting choice when shedding fat while trying to preserve muscle mass during a cut.

The last MoA (Mechanism of Action) of SR9009 is that it reduces glucose production in the liver, which limits fat storage. This gives Stenabolic another good reason to fit into cutting cycles.

Major Drawback - Low Bioavailability

Here’s the biggest issue with SR9009: its low bioavailability.

When you take it orally, a large portion of it gets broken down before it reaches your bloodstream. That portion that got broken down is completely useless.

This means you’re not getting the full benefits of Stenabolic when taking it in pill form. In fact, the research shows that the oral absorption rate is around 2-3%, which means you lose out on more than 95% of the product that you ingest.

To get around this, many people choose liquid SR9009 and take it sublingually (under the tongue). This method allows it to bypass the digestive system, leading to better absorption.

You need to hold the liquid under your tongue for 30-60 seconds, allowing it to absorb directly into your bloodstream through the mucous membranes on the floor of your mouth. This way, more of the compound enters your system effectively.

Mouth

There is another option to get around this, and it’s the injectable version. It offers much better bioavailability but it’s not nearly as popular. Personally, I don’t recommend it, there’s not a lot of research done on it and have no experience with it.

It’s also important to consider that probably the majority of these personal reports involve bunk SR9009, which introduces side effects not associated with legitimate SR9009.

One thing we do know for sure is that SR9009 can help regulate sleep cycles by targeting REV-ERBα. However, some people experience the opposite effect, resulting in insomnia or disrupted sleep.

This is rare, but it happens—and dosage timing plays a big role. Most people who get this problem take SR9009 right before bed, which seems to cause the sleep disruption. I always recommend against taking it at night to avoid this problem.

Most people split their daily dose into three parts – taking it in the morning, at lunch, and in the afternoon.

It’s a good idea to avoid taking SR9009 before bed because it can cause insomnia or disrupted sleep for some people.

Dosage

The typical SR9009 dosage is between 20-30 mg per day, though starting at 10 mg is smart if you’re beginner.

Because of SR9009’s short half-life, it’s best to split your doses across the day. For instance, if you’re taking 30 mg daily, you could take 10 mg in the morning, 10 mg mid-day, and 10 mg in the afternoon.

Splitting doses helps keep SR9009’s effects stable throughout the day without dips in performance.

Cycle Length

The optimal cycle length for SR9009 hasn’t been fully researched, but based on my personal experience and what most people do, cycles typically last 8-12 weeks.

After your cycle, I recommend taking a break of equal length to give your body time to recover.

For example, after a 12-week cycle, a 12-week break is recommended. Since SR9009 doesn’t affect testosterone, there’s no need for PCT, but taking a break ensures you’re not overworking your system.

SR9009 vs Other Compounds

SR9009 is most commonly compared to three compounds:

SR9009 vs Cardarine (GW-501516)

Both SR9009 and Cardarine are used to boost endurance and fat loss, but they work through different pathways.

If you’re doing a lot of long-duration cardio, Cardarine provides a stronger endurance boost. However, SR9009 has other benefits as well, including potential heart health improvements and energy metabolism (increased fat loss) throughout the day.

For me and for most people, Cardarine is more effective. However, it comes with concerns about cancer risks from some (questionable) studies. SR9009 is promising, but it’s not as effective – especially when factoring in the low bioavailability of the oral form.

SR9009 vs SR9011

SR9009 and SR9011 are both REV-ERBα agonists, which means they work in similar ways. They both increase mitochondria production and regulating circadian rhythms.

However, there are a few key differences between the two compounds.

One big difference is half-life. SR9011 has a slightly longer half-life than SR9009, which means its effects last longer and don’t require as many split doses throughout the day.

Still, you should split it into at least two doses for the best results.

SR9011 has better oral bioavailability than SR9009, meaning it’s absorbed more effectively when taken orally. But taking SR9009 sublingually fixes this poblem.

In terms of effectiveness, both compounds help boost endurance and improve fat metabolism, but SR9009 is much more widely used and backed by more evidence.

SR9011 is less available and has fewer studies and feedback. This makes it hard for us to really understand the effects.

If you’re deciding between the two, SR9011 may offer longer-lasting effects, but SR9009 remains the more popular choice. Given the huge difference in research and community feedback, I always recommend SR9009 over SR9011.

SR9009 vs Clenbuterol

Clenbuterol is more effective as a fat-burner but it also comes with harsher side effects.

Clenbuterol works by stimulating beta-2 receptors, increasing calorie burn and thermogenesis. This makes it highly effective for quick fat loss. However, it’s famous for side effects like jitters, heart palpitations, and muscle cramps, this makes it intense and risky for long-term use.

SR9009, while not as potent for immediate fat loss, seems to be much safer and offers other benefits like improving endurance and heart health. This makes it a better long-term option with fewer side effects.

If you want fast fat loss and don’t care about the harsher side effects, Clenbuterol is more effective. But for a safer and more well-rounded compound, SR9009 is a much better choice.
